Happy week, girls!
Well, it's not very common to be here on a Monday, but I have so many things to talk about that I decided to only do the blog today!
It even worked out well: I'm on the subway right now writing, it's packed with people holding balls and wearing shorts, school holidays for sure – they're heading to the beach, the weather is perfect for it. The day is truly wonderful 🌼.
I had a small mishap and went to the emergency dentist, and really, some misfortunes come for good. Since my dentist is in Porto, I decided to do a little sightseeing in my city, remember my roots, and visit my old colleagues.
Some of you know, others don't, so I'll summarize: I worked for many years in Sta. Catarina, 31 de Janeiro and Sto. Ildefonso, at the Vanda, Gata (now Max) shoe store group. It was truly a school for life! We worked immensely, we were so mistreated by our bosses, but at the same time, it was all normal for the time. So much was sold, so many people... My God, what times those were! We were happy and didn't know it! How I missed Sta. Catarina, so different now…
I saw my old colleagues – some of them are still there – for them, it seems like time has stopped, how is that possible!
I couldn't resist and went to eat a Pastel de Chaves at the famous Império, which now looks more like a luxury pastry shop… Everything has changed! Even so, downtown is still full of traditions and some iconic shops are still there. I loved reminiscing ❤️
Changing the subject and talking about this week's main topic:
April is the store's anniversary month 🎁🍾 – this year it's celebrating 22 years!
A week of celebration and many surprises for you! 🎉
We are also on Easter holidays 🐣, everything happening at the same time, so we have even more reasons to celebrate. If the weather helps, it will be a joy 🥰🥰🥰.
