Happy New Year to all. Experts say it's Year 1, a fresh start, a beginning, and may it be a beginning, a fresh start of wonderful things for all of us 💪🏻. I'm going to start changing now, and, as always, you're the first to know.
I decided, together with my team, that after years of staff instability and my great desire to do different and distinct things, we will change the opening hours of the physical store.
Yes, it's true!
It's this week that the Carla Valente store will only be open in the afternoon. The hours will be as follows:
Sunday, Monday, and holidays — CLOSED
Tuesday to Friday — from 2 pm to 7 pm
Saturdays open all day
from 10 am to 1 pm
from 2 pm to 7 pm
At first it will feel strange, but then it's a matter of habit or even of adjusting to the availability and needs of some customers. It will be a phase of adaptation for me and for you, I think it will go very well 👏!
With this small change, which will make all the difference, I will be able to organize myself to be closer to you. I will have more freedom to visit suppliers, research trends, and create more content, photos, videos, live streams, small tips, and even small vlogs about how the morning is going.
I want to let my imagination and creativity soar, I want to continue taking my next step and achieve my goal of being a professional image consultant, and I will only be able to do that with more useful time! Believe me, it will be very good!
I am very confident in this new schedule model. No one can be creative under pressure. Lately, being in the store for 8 hours only makes me stand still and not evolve, you understand?
In 2025, I invested in coaching training, tried to grow professionally and intellectually, and the last month of the year felt like a prison. I realized that I can't be the best, or the most innovative, or even the most professional, if I don't have time to make things happen… This is not a justification, it's a sharing of evolution where you are the first to know 🥰, and I also know you are rooting for my success. The result will be excellent!

Let's talk a little about my trip at the beginning of the year 🥰
I'm going to tell the truth: it was nothing like I expected. I was so tired that I created overly high expectations (a mistake I need to correct in everything). Marrakech has so much to explore, it's known for its always mild weather, its colors, and its culture 😃. I chose the wrong weekend, I chose the wrong riad. We went on a weekend when the Africa Cup was taking place, result: huge crowds, museums and attractions all sold out, the weather raining — yes, it's true, raining. I had a bit of a cold, I wasn't at my best and couldn't enjoy it much 😟.
Best moment in Marrakech: I slept all Saturday afternoon. Yes, I haven't slept an entire afternoon on a Saturday in years — a luxury 😅😅😅.
I took a carriage ride, visited gardens, went to iconic restaurants, walked those narrow streets full of color, culture, and craftsmanship, wonderful walls.
The riad where I stayed wasn't great, everyone was very friendly, but zero comfort! Everything was tiny and I hate lack of space, honestly — whims that age demands. That's why, after the second night, I moved to the new part of the city and to a hotel with all the comfort and space my 50+ self demands 😅.
I love getting to know different cultures, but what is beautiful fascinates me. 20 minutes from the center, the new part of the city also offers beautiful gardens, imposing houses, hotels for all tastes, fabulous restaurants and cleanliness 🧹. Yes, cleanliness, pride, everything very well maintained, beautiful shops, another charm that I identify with.
Without a doubt, Marrakech still has a lot to explore. I will choose a better date and make a tour of the best things. I didn't experience as much as I would have liked on this trip, with my health not being at its best, everything is more restricted, that's the reality. It's for next time.
Highlights: I caught up on sleep, had fun, and had a lot of romance ♥️.

Let's talk about sales.
This year, I also decided, strategically, to put the 50% earlier, respecting, of course, the maximum percentages that some brands require, such as Dixie and Imperial, without disrespecting anyone, but respecting myself!
Let's see: we have a website that works wonderfully, which is an incredible help right now, because alone I can't show everything or serve everyone. The website helps and so it's easier.
This week I will do live streams by themes, it's easier for me and for you too: Liber trousers, Lola trousers, Foursoul, etc. I'll try to make it as organized as possible for you and for me. The content will be created until 1 pm, so it's more agile to sell the rest of the day and also for those who go to the store, they already have an idea of what they want ☺️. I really believe it will work wonderfully 👏👏👏, with your help, of course!
Another very important and interesting novelty: as the cold doesn't let up, I decided to buy more fur coats, like mine which is a success, the shorter one and also the brown model I showed this week. Our coats are very versatile, comfortable, and of high quality, they don't go out of style, excellent price/quality! Stay tuned 😉.
I hope this Year 1 is very good for all of us. I have a lot of faith, health, and shopping 🛍️.
I am very confident. I myself committed to changing my attitude so as not to repeat the same mistakes, whether personally or professionally: to have more method, organization, and, above all, to use the word NO with more attitude and frequency 🫣.
So I say goodbye to this rainy and sad Sunday, but with a lot of hope for what is to come 👏💪🏻🥰.
