Hey girls, here we are again for a few more minutes of chat on my blog with my clients, friends, followers, and colleagues who give so much viewership to my blog, as I know it's a hot topic in backstage conversations. Thank you so much!!!
You know that this little space I created is to be closer to you, and in a way, for you to also get to know Carla Valente behind the scenes. Here, I vent, I write what's on my mind in my personal moments! I love writing, and I think I manage to convey that to you clearly, explicitly, and not too complicatedly 🥰.
This week went well; we started the week with a marathon of 2 live streams on Monday, and it was a success. Honestly, I should do this more often, even though you all know that Meta is cutting views, things haven't gone badly at all, all thanks to you 🥰.
I also tried to start showcasing more of the new collection, and with the arrival of September, we will finally remove the sales items from the store, which will only be available online or during live streams.
Winter collection, my favorite, exudes elegance and glamour; how I love winter clothes 🩷.
Passionate about fashion, it gives me immense pleasure at the beginning of a collection, when everything is available, to let my imagination run wild, mix themes, mix brands, and create improbable outfits. I love being in the store and suggesting looks, showing new arrivals, and making sure you touch and feel the quality of the fabrics. I love it!!!
The satisfaction I get from seeing a client leave the store with a huge smile, with their self-esteem at its peak, and happy!
I feel a sense of duty fulfilled, I know I made someone happy for a couple of minutes. A good speaker, a good listener, I immensely enjoy this personal contact; I always grow a little more as a person, and I also get updated on other trends that I'm completely out of touch with, such as the best movie in the cinema, the best documentary on Netflix, or even the news from the neighbor down the street—it's truly fantastic!
If she's reading my blog, she knows who she is: my dear neighbor, client, and friend—yes, I think I can call her a friend—the sweet Beatriz Marques, a full professor at the University of Coimbra, who constantly encourages me (in a good way) to go back to studying 📖. She is an imposing, intelligent, charismatic woman; I love every minute I talk to her, as I feel that I've enriched my wisdom a little more 🩷. Thank you, Beatriz, for everything you've become to me in these past few months; I adore you!
My life is this, girls: working with love in everything I do, whether it's a 60% live stream or a video of the new collection, because otherwise, it wouldn't make sense.
September is my favorite month; it's the beginning of a new season and my birthday month 🎁. It's also important to celebrate life. I was born on September 8th, I could only be happy; 8 represents infinity, and September a new beginning!
So, let's make some magic and organize everything so that we will be more present (even more so) in your lives.
Both I and Joana and Brenda and the entire back-office team will give our best, not 100% but 200%.
