Hello Girls!
First of all, Happy New Year to all! Actually, I haven't spoken to you since 2023 (laughs). I entered this year of 2024 full of energy to create sales and communication strategies with you, whether through the website, or through videos, photos, or live broadcasts.
In the back office, we have dedicated time to discussing ideas and strategies, defining objectives and goals, and finding solutions. I am confident that the project we started in 2023 will gain significant momentum this year.
As a team, we meet weekly and strive to innovate and implement various ideas and solutions. Not everything always goes as we wish, but we are convinced that the fruits of our labor are on their way.
On the recommendation of my team and my Marketing Manager, I took some time to recharge. This year, our goal is to increase productivity while maintaining a healthy balance with personal life. I am using this break to write on my blog and enjoy a good book. In fact, I shared some photos with you of the chosen location for this break.
My children were still small, and every year, in the summer, we would come to Alambique in Fundão. We have witnessed the evolution of this magnificent establishment, which grew, and grew, and grew, and today, with our children grown, each with their wives and girlfriends, the two of us finally came to experience the largest Spa in the country.
Well, Mr. Alberto (owner of Alambique) is undoubtedly an inspiring, intelligent person who inspires any entrepreneur. He worked miracles; the Spa must have been inspired by Dubai, as it is very advanced and different from any I have ever seen. Numerous pools, saunas, a snow room, climate-controlled showers, a snow cabin, etc., etc. Fabulous, I really recommend it! I wanted to come and see it now because it's so good that once people realize, it will be impossible to book here!
Conclusion: I am very happy, and getting out of the routine truly works wonders; I feel new!
Now let's talk about the Window Display Contest, something that started so well and fun ended up like this, so dull. And believe me, it's not because I'm losing, simply because I don't believe those numbers, and then, thinking coldly and analyzing, do you think 5000 people took the trouble to spend time and really look at the window displays?
For 3 consecutive years, I was among the top 3 without ever knowing the jury. You also know that it doesn't need to be Christmas for my window display to always be one of the most beautiful in the county, so losing this year has a bittersweet taste, as I think this has become a personal competition, and that was not the goal. We lost, but we lost because ours was the most beautiful window display.
As I am a sportswoman, all that remains is for me to give advance congratulations to the winning window display for the votes achieved (I don't believe all votes were legitimate), but not for the window display itself because mine, without a doubt (not to brag), was much more beautiful.
So, I bid farewell this week with my raw and unvarnished truth (laughs). I will start another week of work much more relaxed and full of ideas and dreams!
