Hello ladies, here we go for the last chat of 2023! Today I'm going to give a brief summary of this year which, for me, was the most turbulent, the most demanding, and honestly, the one I most wish would end.
I was carrying a heavy load from 2022, for reasons unrelated to the shop. You, on the other side, only know and only saw what we chose to show. There are moments, behind the cameras, that are not within your sight. Many times, I wiped away tears and appeared in front of the camera, while you thought I just had a cold. Lives... There were several times we laughed and joked, and burst into laughter. Little do you know that those moments were, for me, a breath of fresh air in my day. You make me feel cherished, loved, and important in your lives. By my side, I had a wonderful team in my eyes, I just didn't know that I wasn't the wonderful boss I thought I was. However, I am grateful for the learning experience and I truly wish them a lot of light on their path.
We all have our flaws and personalities; some have an aptitude for one thing, others for another, and people complement each other. The truth is, I wasn't born to be a leader; I don't think I know how to lead people. I'm too gentle and, over time, the lines between boss and employee blurred, because, nowadays, people find it difficult to find their place.
Once again, I emphasize and repeat: I wish a lot of light and, especially, mental health and common sense to know how to occupy one's place. An employee, plain and simple!
Those who understand the stars say that this is a year of growth, learning and cleansing. And if it's gone, it's because it wasn't on the same frequency (learning from mistakes). Be more patient!
May 2024 come with a lot of strength, a lot of energy and a lot of 'Eternal Light' of wisdom, so as not to repeat the mistakes of the previous year.
It was a year in which we did very big things; we dedicated ourselves more to videos and photos. A year marked by many emotions, children, pets, wars, catastrophes - emotionally heavy.
But it was also a year of cultural trips, leisure trips, family trips, etc.
We end the year with this Christmas window display competition, which has really been very close. Therefore, I appeal for votes: vote a lot and share, until January 7th.
All that's left is to wish you all much health, success, and money to buy a lot from Carla Valente.
A great 2024 to all and a very, very, very big thank you for being there, through joys and sorrows.
