Hello, girls of my heart!

Here I am again for a few more minutes of writing with you. As expected, today I'm going to focus on the topic of Christmas. I confess that this year I'm not feeling very festive. I don't know, for me, recent times have been so confusing! And on top of that, this economic situation... The absence of the children at home on Christmas Eve (this year they're going to the other grandmother's) gives me such an inner sadness.

I shouldn't be saying this, but you know me a little by now and you know I'm transparent and don't just want to write beautifully! Aside from that, I realize that more and more people are breaking traditions. There's no longer that magic when choosing gifts. It feels like it's just for the sake of giving, all an obligation and not love.

Maybe that's why, and perhaps because I'm in a more sensitive phase, it makes me sad... I love seeing the reaction on people's faces when I give them presents, I love giving something that will bring a smile. Damn, Christmas is once a year, why not spend a little time and give something that will make someone happy?

Do you find it that difficult? Do you think you need money to give a gift? We all have an aptitude for something, girls. Writing a card, making something knitted, giving that beautiful photo – that's not expensive but it has immeasurable value!

Of the gifts I received and loved, one was a photo that showed the complicity of a friendship... so simple and so symbolic! Another gift I loved was a Polaroid camera, those cameras that print the photo right away, you know which one? I love it! No two photos are ever the same, it's spectacular, it becomes a unique moment.

You can tell I'm young in ideas, but very traditional ("old-fashioned").

Changing the subject, have you been voting every day? This game really brought me joy, it's really fun every day trying to campaign to vote for my storefront! I can only thank you very much, you are fantastic, girls, but don't lose focus: you need to vote every day until January 7th, okay?

I truly hope that all of you have a Holy Christmas and, most importantly, with a lot of love. Enjoy yourselves, cherish those family moments, laugh a lot, hug each other, kiss each other, be honest, human, and happy!

We'll be back at the store only on Wednesday, the 27th. Until then, keep an eye on your email, because you're going to have a pleasant surprise. Because our website doesn't stop! Browse the party items, visit our physical store in Matosinhos, and until then, vote, vote, vote with family, with friends!

Kisses, with much affection, Carla Valente
