Hello, hello girls! Happy St. John's to those of you from the North, carago!!!
Porto's St. John's Day truly is one of the most iconic festivals here in the North, the fireworks over the Douro River to the sound of the chosen music every year are magical minutes.
Not to brag, but here in the North, we're a lot of fun – there's the little hammer, the leek, the smell of sardines, the balloons in the sky – it's just too beautiful. On top of that, this year the weather will help, it's wonderful!
All the girls registered on the website have already noticed that we've really hammered down prices on several selected products, so it's worth checking out!
In-store promotions have already started and new arrivals continue to come in weekly. These new arrivals, of course, are not on promotion because they are new season items. The weather remains as unstable as I've ever seen; years in retail and I don't remember such an inconsistent temperature, honestly. Which means another lesson for the future when buying the next collections, I'm always learning!
This week I was also in online, I packed your orders and how I missed it. By the way, if I weren't in the store, the second thing I love most, but really love, is handling shipments and replying to your messages. Some of you are already family, online family. I'm doing the wrapping and imagining you receiving it, I sound silly lol. As I posted this week, if you see me laughing or talking to myself, it's because I'm in a meeting with myself (laughs). I have so many ideas, we'll need two or three more Carlas, I can't do everything I want.
Our Joana was on vacation, she must be coming back now, I imagine her all dark and tanned, contrasting with Brenda's whiteness and delicacy lol. I can already picture the two of them side by side (laughs). Oh, no one will put up with her international tan lol. Then I'll show the contrast: "one is blonde, the other is brunette, it's just what a man wants," as Marco Paulo used to say (laughs). I'm very funny today, have you noticed?
Oh dear, that's what you get out of this life, a good mood.
For this coming week, I promise more photos, more looks of the week, more new dresses arriving, the kind you love, good, beautiful and affordable. A tip for you: take advantage of the promotions now at the beginning, there are still sizes, you'll make great purchases. You can get gorgeous holiday looks at fantastic prices. After all, summer hasn't even arrived yet and you, customers, are the ones making a profit, that's the truth!
The holidays are just around the corner, and I'm going to make a challenge to all of you, here and now: it just came to me... all the girls who send us a photo from their holidays, all dressed in Carla Valente, at the end of the summer we will offer a shopping voucher to spend on the new collection. What do you think???
I want lots of photos and we'll do an online poll here, do you agree??? I'll be waiting for feedback! But they're not photos at home, they have to be on holiday, location and the full look, okay? If you don't have shoes, take them barefoot, but take them, participate, let's have a little fun!
