After a week's break, I'm back for a little chat ❤️
As you know, the local festival has started, the famous Sr. de Matosinhos 🎊🎊🎈 and what a party it is! People come from all over for the famous Sr. de Matosinhos 👏👏👏.
Every year I notice many more people, the entertainment program is also very appealing and the truth is that it attracts many more people. The smell of grilled sardines, bread with chorizo, and "farturas"... a tempting indulgence. Bad news: it will last a month 🫣🫣🫣🫣. Cheers to these initiatives for helping us forget the less good things that happen in our daily lives.
I started the week doing tests for my image consultancy training and I'm going to add more modules. I really want to focus seriously on this subject. I think I'll be able to now! I have to practice a lot and, in recent months, I haven't been able to at all... I'm always going a million miles an hour.
Today is also a special day: it's Children's Day. My granddaughters are so grown up. Just this week we all went dancing and, every now and then, I would stop to observe and think: "My God, how time flies."
This year they will have their first prom. I say first because now, throughout their school journey, there are several proms. I find it very funny. They are super happy and anxious... and so am I 🥰 My dear granddaughters.
In the shop, this week we were very busy: 3 live streams, sales, promotions, and a new collection ❤️ Many of you ask if Vera is back. Well, Vera has a tiny baby, she is still enjoying the pleasures of motherhood, but those who follow her know that she doesn't stop for a minute. In conversation, she once said that it was amazing when we took photos together — there was incredible chemistry, especially regarding VDR — and she said: "Whenever you want, I'll get organized and we'll take some photos and do some live streams." And so it was. Whenever possible, within both our schedules, we do some cool things like that. Are you enjoying it?
I think so. From the private messages I receive, I think you are happy... and so are we!
Online, our Ari continues, a little less visible on camera because we prioritized, these last few weeks, the VDR Mega Sales — as we always do at this time — and so, I, who identify a lot with it, love doing it myself!
In the shop, we have Sara, who made her debut this week on Lola's live stream, and didn't she do well? Sara is more mature, with incredible experience in ready-to-wear, friendly, good-humored... it's very easy to work with someone who already has experience in the area. Well, over these months, as you can imagine, the human resources part is, without a doubt, the most difficult of all — and one that I'm not good at, I confess. If it weren't for our Eduardo Valente helping in that area and easing things a bit when I have my moments of despair, it wouldn't be easy... They were very tough months and, if I could erase 2024 from my life, I would. But it's all part of personal and professional growth. If it happened this way, it's because it had to be! Now it's time to move forward with many new things on the table 🥰
I'm happy! I'm planning a few days of vacation and I'm sure you won't even notice my absence... everything is well taken care of 🙌
