Right now I'm writing super relaxed in front of a pool with the Douro as a backdrop. I took a little getaway to relax, recharge. We all deserve moments of leisure with our families. Ever since my dear late father was hospitalized at Easter, I've never celebrated Easter again. I respect it, I think it's a wonderful date, but I prefer to escape with my husband and take the opportunity to rest... And it feels so good...
We came to Longroiva, a tiny village in Mêda, near Foz Côa, but I'm honest, it could even be giant because the goal is to be at the hotel and relax as much as possible. Yesterday, after dinner, we completely crashed until this morning. It's been so long since I slept so well... The silence, knowing that today I have no commitments, gave me a peace I hadn't felt in a long time... You know, in reality they don't kill, but you feel it, and age doesn't forgive. You all witness and know that I don't stop, but 50 is here and nowadays, after doing a live stream and working 12 hours, I come home exhausted, really very tired!
That's why I try to take advantage of every moment to do these kinds of getaways. Last year I had a week of vacation, it was too little, that's why in the videos I'm always talking about vacations 😂😂😂,
Currently, an entrepreneur's life is not easy. Having the door open requires a commitment to our clients and, with the lack of staff, I have to be the one always there. For this, I have to give up a lot of things, one of them, for example, is being able to take vacations at any time, because I can't just close the door and put up a sign as if it were a cafe. There is enormous respect for you, vacations are for when it suits...
Let's talk about good things: this month is our anniversary month. On April 13th, we celebrate 23 years of the store. What pride, what resilience! Another year that I have a lot to thank you and all the customers who visit us in the physical store, thank you 🙏
The more attentive ones have already seen that we entered a size war 😂. With Sol joining our team and with her elegance, she has brought back another niche of customer and I am very happy. Those who know us know that in the store I try to have a variety of products for all ages and styles, but for some time now I confess that I often skipped the S in some items. Sometimes I even get sad, because the best-selling sizes are always the largest, nothing against, but a size grid has 5 sizes. I mean by this that, with Sol's profile, more profiles have returned and identified with us. The next step is to really start investing in XS and S and Imperial is the perfect brand, another promise already registered here 🥰.
I couldn't help but talk about the VDR collection here. I'm loving everything, it's been a while since I liked a VDR collection so much. The high-quality fabrics, the lightness of the prints, and the combination of colors are perfect 👌. I feel like buying everything, I love it! Modesty aside, the photos turned out amazing and I look 10 years younger 😂😂😂. As I usually say, VDR is a religion: first it seems strange, then it becomes ingrained. Do you agree with me, right? I bet you do!
Today I won't bother you anymore, especially since it's Easter Sunday 🐣 and family day, and I'm going to take another dip in the heated outdoor pool. I love it!
