Here I am for another week on my blog. This week, I'm going to share a very special family moment with you. Today is my dear granddaughters' communion day, double the happiness, without a doubt. As many of you know, they are twins and are 9 years old. I became a grandmother at 40, and now, almost 50, I've already seen their baptism, and today, their first communion. I feel privileged, no doubt. These are the countless advantages of being a young grandmother. It's also fantastic for them, as they get to have several grandparents and even young great-grandparents. 🥰
We are a very fast-paced family, always on the go. So, Christmases are now a sea of people – children, grandchildren, children's girlfriends, etc. It's being a very happy day ❤️.
As expected, today's look is a total look from Loja Carla Valente, and it will also be this week's suggested look. I mixed vintage with current fashion. Polka dots are always a classic, so I chose a polka dot skirt and top from FERRACHE. I loved it!
The satin skirt is super versatile, suitable for a classic look or for wearing with trainers. The glamorous top is short, but with the ideal length for a grandma (hahaha). The two pieces together give the impression of a dress. Modesty aside, it looked very elegant. I wore transparent sandals to make the look stand out, tied my hair back, put on some fun earrings, and finished with the Maite by Lola Casadomunt mini pocket. It was the cherry 🍒 on top of the cake.
And so, I share a little more of my life story with you on this very sunny Sunday ☀️. Finally, the much-desired sun.
