Girls, it seems I've taken a liking to writing and here I am again to update you on the latest happenings.
Those who follow me on social media surely noticed the Maitê by Lola Casademunt fashion show I shared this weekend. Well, I'm still touched by this whole experience the brand provided me.
Never in my career have I felt so flattered by an invitation. I, Carla Valente, was the Portuguese person (as a customer) invited to attend the brand's fashion show in Madrid.
You know that feeling when your work is appreciated? That's how I felt; someone rewarded me with an incredible experience.
Experiencing the greatness of a brand like Maitê up close is amazing!
Everything was perfect, down to the last detail.
I felt like a movie star: plane, hotel, bus to the show, cocktail after the show, dinner, party after dinner – everything impeccable.
Next summer's theme is inspired by the power, grandeur, and magnificence of Egypt.
They managed to convey that exact message. The runway was invaded by several Cleopatras showcasing glamour, luxury, elegance, and exuberance. Wonderful! Flowing gold-colored dresses mixed with exotic patterns... it was 30 magical minutes on a first-class, luxurious journey!
I also had the pleasure of meeting Maitê in person, the brand's creator and founder, a simple, humble woman with exceptional taste.
I had no idea how extensive the Maitê by Lola Casademunt family was: CEO, sales associates, stylists, collaborators, clients, administration, friends, and many Spanish public figures, all with attention to detail!
